Orange Level is the third of Failure Free Reading eight instructional levels ranging from beginning first grade to SAT/ACT content. Orange is for students with a 2nd-3rd grade reading level. Orange Level is suitable for: All Ages., beginning English Language Learners, at-risk, RtI Tiers II & III interventions, and special education populations: autism, learning disabilities, intellectually disabled, deaf/HH and dyslexics.

Orange Level is designed to:

  • significantly enhance vocabulary, expressive fluency, comprehension and self confidence for the student
  • teach mastery of 766 unique academic English words
  • teach mastery of most of the Dolch 220 words and the critical nouns, pronouns, adverbs and adjectives most generic to stories found in school and library texts written at the 2nd-3rd grade level

Detailed Descriptions of Failure Free Reading’s Seven Orange Level Stories:

Orange Level – Story 1 - “Going on a Train Ride” is the first story from the Orange level of Failure Free Reading’s eight instructional levels. Orange. which is the third level in the Failure Free Reading series, is perfect for students: Ages 7-15 yrs.: early reading, beginning English Language Learners, at-risk, and special education populations: autism, learning disabilities, intellectually disabled, deaf/HH and dyslexics.

Orange Level - Story 1 “Going on a Train Ride” sets the stage for the seven interrelated stories found in the Orange level. It is based on the common theme of going on a train to make a visit. The first five stories in the Orange Level teach mastery of critical vocabulary found in second grade. The last two stories in the Orange Level series are particularly powerful. They will introduce a large number of critical vocabulary found in third grade in a very rapid accelerated pace.

Orange Level - Story 1 “Going on a Train Ride” is based on going to the train station to begin the train trip. Your student/child will read about going to the train station with his//her family members.
